Impacting Mountains

Has any body heard of Anne Rice? She wrote all the Vampire stories, like Interview With a Vampire, etc. She also wrote a series about witches, and recently since her conversion to Christianity she has writen stories about Jesus. Now she has started a new saga about Angels. She has made a commitment to write Christian fiction, now and she says on her website she intends to keep it. Of course what makes some of her stories fiction is simply that the people are and stories are made up, but the supernatural things she has writen about (aside from immortality of a human body, such as vampires and mummys) has some truth to them. If you ever read a deliverance manual, then you would understand everything her witch sagas talk about. Of course she wrote all of her books up to the ones about Christ before she was born again. I for one am glad someone is writing about supernatural things through the eyes of a christian for a change. I'm sure if you are a bible man through and through, you will find some of her writings different than your beliefs, but some people didnt like "the Shack" either. My point here is not to promote Anne Rice, but to point in a direction where the culture is being affected by someone other than lucifer. If we as Christians bump into a Hollywood star or a famous musician, or politician, it may not be by accident. Do you realize that Jesus said the mustard seed is one of the smallest seed yet it could grow into a tree? One seed planted in the right mind could be huge! So with that in mind, I emailed Anne Rice, suggesting some ideas that could open this dark culture up to explore the possibilities of the supernatural actually working in a church. I know this sounds like a joke, to some but, most unsaved people think we are a joke. When they think of miracles, they think of aliens from outer space, or their grandma visiting them in a dream or ghosts, or psychics. If the church ever needs to rise up in the gifts that Paul talked about it is now. You know, different types of tongues, prophesy, secrets of the heart, gifts of patching broken hearts, praying for the sick with faith! You remember faith? thats the word that everything we stand on depends on. you have to have faith in Jesus, but you have to obey what he said to do as well, and he said have faith. heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, remember? I know doctors have given common names to devils now but they are still devils! So keep your eyes peeled! you never know who you could impact, in order for them to impact millions! Oh and by the way Anne Rice emailed me back and said she would look into a few gifts that are operating in the church today for her research. She has writen about some very blasphemous things in the past so looking into modern day Spiritual things in the church would be nothing to her, she has literally writen about almost every phenomenon out there, why not miracles in church, or tongues or prophecy, or casting out demons? Be praying for her, she is a God send...
